– Reducing the wait time from project submission to launch to one-fifth of what it used to be… AI accelerates makers’ entry into the market
– In-house AI monitoring system with 90% accuracy… Continuously strengthening the funding trust framework
– Anyone can start fundraising the same day… AI supports an easy and fast launch
Wadiz(CEO Shin Hye-seong, www.wadiz.kr) announced that, just five months after transitioning from a pre-approval system to a full-process AI monitoring system, the wait time for makers to launch their funding projects has been reduced from about four days to less than one day. This has also significantly expanded opportunities for makers to showcase their ideas more quickly and gauge market potential through supporter feedback.
WadizStarting on April 13, the platform shifted its operating system from a model where projects were made public only after awaiting review results to one where projects can begin immediately without waiting for separate approval, and AI continuously monitors the entire funding process. As a result, the waiting time before public release has been reduced; at the same time, if any red flags are detected, operators review the matter on a case-by-case basis and take appropriate actions, such as requesting revisions or hiding the project.
Changes to the operational structure led to faster processing times. A comparison of data from the six months prior to the transition and the five months following the stabilization of the system showed that the median time from project submission to final approval in the system was 0 hours, meaning it was processed immediately upon submission. Subsequently, including the time it took for the maker to set the launch date and conduct a final review of the project page, the median time from submission to the “Scheduled to Open” announcement was reduced by approximately 80%, from 97.7 hours to 20.5 hours.
The overall project preparation period has also been shortened. The median time from the day a creator began writing the project story to the announcement of the planned launch date was reduced by 5.2 days, from 12.8 days to 7.6 days. As the process of waiting for preliminary reviews and revision confirmations has been streamlined, the waiting time during the preparation phase has also been reduced, enabling creators to manage their project schedules more efficiently.
While enhancing convenience for creators, the platform is also continuing to make technological improvements to ensure a highly reliable funding environment. The AI monitoring system developed in-house by Wadizwas recently updated to reduce false positives in key areas such as intellectual property rights, achieving an accuracy rate of approximately 90% based on internal metrics. Wadizplans to continue improving its decision-making accuracy and ability to respond to risk signals based on actual operational data.
Wadiz An official stated, “ Wadiz’s goal is to expand opportunities for people to take on new challenges so that anyone can showcase their ideas to the world and test their potential in the market,” adding, “We will continue to refine our AI-based trust system to help makers get started quickly while ensuring supporters can participate with confidence.”
